Loving Right Now...

Syd from the The Daybook looking spring ready in this wonderful coat, I dream of having one like this is butter soft suede one day.  This coat is from the great new line called Hatch which make chic clothes for before, during and after pregnancy, now that is an idea I can get behind.  

Gorgeous and not a sailor collar in sight, I can see myself floating around in one of these on a warm summer day.  What do you think, do you like this idea?

P.S. I am not pregnant just in case you thought I may be, I just love a chic idea.  ax

This Weekend I Will Be...

... Shaking off our hibernation ...

...With some sunny walks with Poppy.  She has been sleeping for a minimum of 23 hours a day, and not just  napping, no, proper legs in the air, snoring!

...With a long sunny lunch with the Capitan, chatting and soaking up some much needed spring sunshine.

...I am going to ditch the jeans and wear some colour, as Mrs Lilien would always advise.

...Off to a party to say "Bon Voyage" to some lovely girls about to embark on some world wide travel adventures.

...And spending some quality Sunday time with the March issue magazines...Bliss!

Marni For H&M

The long awaited Marni for H&M collection is now for view all over the web and due to hit stores on Thursday 8th March.  This is one collection that had me interested and I am pleased with the collection and the prices, most pieces are under 100€ with accessories around 20€, some of the colours are a little dark for  me for summer but all are in silk, so it works.

The accessory line is really nice and these are my favourite picks, I am hoping for one of those lovely flower necklaces and I think these colours will add a great touch to summer whites.

So what do you think, are there any pieces you are hoping for?  The brown and white silk dress above is the one I have my eye on and am even thinking of getting up to queue at 5am...Am I mad?  The Capitan has kindly said he would come with me, but I am hoping I can get it online, well they may not even have the full line in our local store...(I really hate queueing).

Winter Blues to Spring Flowers

Hello my lovelies, I am still here!  I have been suffering from a bad case of the winter blues, this is not a fun time of year for me.  I read this great article from Stylized Existence which pin pointed some of my feelings and I am sure it is something we all have to deal with.  Also some great tips here from The Simply Luxurious Life who has lots of great advice on living a stylish and full life.  I am sure I am not alone with struggling though these winter months and I know the life sapping feeling they bring, but the good moments are turning into good days and the sun is trying to bring some warmth with it, which means the end is in sight.  I have missed chatting to you all and am looking forward to being interested in life again, lets get some regular post going ...

...Some lovely spring flowers to brighten your day.  I am also loving all the pastel clothes that are filling up the stores and online sites, I have not have not had a fling with pastel clothes since the 80's but I am willing to give them a try, lets see what I come up with for my next post.  Until then my friends, keep smiling and always be nice to yourself.  ax
